Becoming a KCP with NetworkedAssets

Since my very first days with the teams at NetworkedAssets I have been using my experience and knowledge regarding Kanban Method to drive our organization to be more business oriented and efficient in the right way. Over a year ago I convinced my colleagues to support me in further steps on the alternative way to the agility.

I was happy and excited to join a 5-days long Kanban Coaching Professional (KCP) Masterclass in Barcelona. The class was taught by the creator of the method – David J. Anderson. The class was just the beginning. In the following months I have started preparing my own case study – a detailed description of my past introduction of Kanban and a business transformation driven by Kanban. It took many conversations, peer reviews, etc. Finally, I got ready for a panel interview. This very final step of the accreditation process is based on an interview conducted by existing members of KCP community. It’s not a series of simple questions but a deeper conversation about the change resistance, metrics and measurement of change to name just a few areas, where the candidate needs to show her or his understanding. I felt a big relief and accomplishment when I heard I have been accepted to the KCP community. It’s also a great feeling to work at the Company, which supported me in this process.

It’s not the end of the road though. In order to keep the status of an active KCP I need keep contributing to the community, keep using everything I have learned to drive further evolution of our Company and support our customers and partners.
